Any Minute Now, She's Going to Start Calling Pepsi "Tonic"

Despite having grown up in this part of Massachusetts, LT and I pronounce our R's and generally speak with little or no discernable accent. Apparently, my child has learned to talk by watching Good Will Hunting and hanging out at the Baah with all her friends.

Her cute little toddler accent has been replaced by what I have affectionately come to refer to as a "Dahleen from Southie" accent.

"Woguwt" (yogurt) is now Yogit
"Barney" is now Bahney
We ride in the Caah and wata the Gaahden
Yesterday, she went to the Paahk, and when she came back Miss Kim (one of her teachers) changed everyone's diapiz.

Next thing we know, she'll be kicking back in the yaahd drinking a beeah, eating a sub and smoking a Maahlbro.

Had to correct spelling errors.

Anyways, I don't want to seem argumentative, but there is no letter "l" in "maahbro."

Hehehe.

Shrimplate-
You may be right about that. I'll have to do a little research and get back to you...
